Information about the Army Institute of Law

The well known Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has established the Army Institute of Law (AIL) on July 1999. On the date of establishment the campus was selected at Patiala and the Ail was inaugurated by Lt. Gen. H B Kala, PVSM, AVSM, SC, the then GOC-in-C HQ Western Command, on 15 July 1999. Now the department has its own building at Sector-68, Mohali and was shifted there on 21 july 2003. The Institute provides the education in the B.A.,LL.B. 5-year degree course in law.
