Information for Wildlife Institute of India (WII)
Institute comes into existence in the year 1982 as an internationally acclaimed Institution. The aim of the Institute is to provide the various training program, academic courses and advisory in wildlife research and management. Mr.V.B.Saharia is known as the founder of it and the Mr. H. S. Panwar was the first director of Institute who remained on the seat from 1985 to 1994. The WII plays a significant role in the aim of promoting the wildlife studies and careers opportunities. - Experience:- Wildlife Science in carnivore and ungulate survey, camera trapping, Distance sampling, basic knowledge of GIS and ecological data analysis software.
